We are pleased to invite you to participate to the 2nd ESO – Swiss Industry Information Day taking place 15th November at the Olten City Parliament.
Presentations from keynote speakers from the ESO Organisation in Munich and from Swiss scientists participating in the construction of ESO instruments will be given.
Since the Swiss industry will have access to other coming astronomy related international projects, in which Swiss astronomers are already involved, such as SKA, CTA and EST, information on the procurement status of these projects and the level of the Swiss Federal state support to these organisations will be given.
In the afternoon, thematic sessions will be organized to identify new opportunities for the Swiss Industry to support the ESO future developments after the E-ELT construction project phase. Five technology domains have been selected in which we see potential cooperation between ESO and the Swiss Industry.
If you wish to participate to this event you need to register – here –
Deadline for registration is November 1st. The final participation list will be distributed a few days before the event. Room capacity is 100 persons.
