Description:
The audiovisual communications laboratory (www.epfl.ch/labs/lcav) is looking for a student for the development of an application to view hyperspectral images, as part of a semester project. While the project will be software based, it has connections with many topics like sampling theory, hardware development and artwork reproduction.
The student will work together with the scientific and technical team on a concept successfully tested on data acquired by an interferential hyperspectral camera prototype. On top of good general programming skills, the ideal candidate would have knowledge in signal and particularly image processing. Basics of optics and colorimetry are a plus.
Deliverables:
An application to view multi-spectral images.
