Type: Master’s project
When a cylindrical viscous filament is compressed axially, two phenomena may be observed: (1) axisymmetric thickening, (2) buckling. In this project we aim to investigate numerically the conditions leading to the buckling. Results will be compared to the existing experimental data in the literature.
