Doorzon interior architects was founded by Stefanie Everaert and Caroline Lateur in 2005. The practice works on both private and public projects, in Belgium and internationally. At its foundation, Doorzon is interested in the role interior architecture can play in a broader social context. They approach projects from different angles and with an open mind, which often leads to unexpected, inventive interventions. Collaboration plays an important role in their cross- disciplinary practice. In 2016, for example, they took part in the Venice Biennale with architects de vylder vinck taillieu and photographer/artist Filip Dujardin. Everaert and Lateur also work as lecturers for KU Leuven (Faculty of Architecture, Sint- Lucas Ghent Campus).
