During the Magistrale graduation ceremony, Lionel Sofia was awarded the School of Engineering Polysphere. These awards are voted for by the students, and handed out by the AGEPoly association.
One of the students made a comment thanking Sofia, “without whom the materials course would have been dull, and the practicals would have seemed to last for ten hours”.
Having graduated from HES as Civil Engineer REG A, Lionel Sofia has been in charge of tests, quality control and customer advice since 2012. He has also been instructing students of materials science and civil engineering in their practical work on cement and concrete.
“Thanks to all the students for your comments and votes,” stated Sofia. “I was especially touched by this award, as it symbolizes the shared work we accomplish together every year.”
