Research projects in materials

SMX Semester projects – Fall 2024

In the following we present possible topics for “Research projects in materials I” (10h, 10 credits) for Master student to be performed during the next semester. Selected projects are offered with accordingly reduced work load (Bachelor 6 :  “Projet matériaux” (5h project – 1h English course, 6 credits) to the Bachelor students.

Possible topics are listed here below. Please contact the relevant assistant at LMGN.

* All-electrical measurements of nonlinear magnetization dynamics
For more information please contact Dr. Mingran Xu  ([email protected]).

* 3D superconducting nanostructures: Time dependent Ginzburg-Landau simulations of vortex dynamics under transport currents
For more information please contact Axel Deenen  ([email protected]).

* Atomic force microscopy characterization of DNA nanostructures
