Fosco is a senior scientist in Blanke Lab. He obtained his Ph.D. in neuroscience with Stéphanie Clarke & Lucas Spierer in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2012. Then he worked with Franz X Vollenweider in Zurich (Switzerland), and Niko A Busch in Berlin (Germany). Since 2014, he is working with Olaf Blanke at the EPFL – École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne in Geneva. Currently, he investigates the role of altered (bodily) self-consciousness in aberrant perceptions, notably observed in psychiatric and neurological patients (e.g. Parkinons’ Disease).
