Halima is a neuroscientist and completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester (United States) and her Master and Doctoral degrees at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). Halima’s research uses behavioural approaches and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to assess cognitive and conscious aspects of apathy and its dependence on neural network functional connectivity in healthy subjects and patients with Parkinson’s disease.
