Juan Carlos Farah received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University followed by a Master of Science in Computing at Imperial College London. He then obtained his PhD in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he worked on tools and frameworks for integrating conversational agents into digital education platforms.
Juan Carlos joins the LNCO to incorporate conversational agents based on large language models into neuroscientific and neuropsychological research methods, in particular for the study of hallucinations and the interview of patients with Parkinson’s disease or dementia.
