Louis Albert graduated in 2017 to the University of Strasbourg (France) with a master’s in computer science and computer graphics and to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique pour l’Industrie et l’Entreprise (France) with an engineering degree in computer science.
After his graduation, eager to explore in more details the neuroscience domain, he joined the Virtual Reality facility of Foundation Campus Biotech Geneva (FCBG), where he developed methods and solutions for studies involving virtual reality, virtual locomotion, 3d rendering and/or motion capture. During these two years, he has already been collaborating with the LNCO. He was for example centrally involved in the design and implementation of an fMRI-compatible platform for immersive and embodied VR. In order to take a more central and active role in research in cognitive neuroscience, he decided to pursue a PhD in neuroscience with us.
