Despite the pandemic, our lovely secretaries Corinne Craman and Esther Hofmann managed to organise a cheese outing this year! We visited the castle of Sarraz.
Visitors of the castle are invited to use the key to the castle – a magnetic card – to activate various activities throughout the different rooms, where former residents come to life in animated paintings to give a glimpse into how life in the castle was like.
The heritage covers almost 900 years of dynastic history. It includes valuable pieces of armor worn by mercenary knights, paintings by famous artists invited to reside at the castle and the immense library of Frédéric de Gingins with more than 3’000 books.
