How to get here
The Laboratory of Psychophysics is located on the EPFL campus in Lausanne. Michael Herzogs’s office is in room SV 2807. The Laboratory is located in the rooms around AI 394.0.
You have several traveling options:
By metro
From Lausanne Gare CFF (central station), take the M2 to “Flon” (city center) and then metro M1 in direction Renens CFF (map). Get off at the EPFL metro station and leave the station in the direction the train is traveling. Under the bridge, turn left and walk upstairs. After 50m, you will see a large open area, where the AI building is located in front of you. The SV building is behind the AI building. A detailed map of EPFL can be found here.
You may also travel to EPFL via Renens Gare CFF. Take metro M1 in the direction “Lausanne Flon” and exit at the station “EPFL”.
By train
Lausanne is well connected to the Swiss Railway system. There are trains to Basel, Bern, Geneva, and Zurich every 30 minutes. To get directly to the EPFL, it’s sometimes better to travel via Renens Gare CFF. From Renens, take metro M1 in direction Lausanne Flon.
By plane
The nearest international airport is in Geneva. By train, Geneva airport is well connected to Lausanne Gare CFF (45 minutes) and Renens Gare CFF (50 minutes). Lausanne is also connected to Zurich airport, but the train journey takes more than two hours.
By car
