General Information
This course is devoted to the principles of image and video coding and communication, and the relative technologies. It emphasizes the source coding principles of image and video, for efficient storage or transmission. It also covers the methods of distribution of video streams over Internet or wireless networks.

Grades
Homeworks are due one week after announcement and should be returned before the following lecture. Grading system: 40% midterm exam, 60% final exam.
