The Metabolic Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MetMRS) Group is a team of researchers working on innovative multinuclear magnetic resonance methodologies for metabolic imaging in humans. Our passion extends to leveraging this research to gain insights into brain function, neurological, and psychiatric disorders, elucidating underlying molecular mechanisms, and ultimately uncovering novel biomarkers for early and precise diagnosis and treatment.
- Neurochemical profiling and imaging with 1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy and spectroscopic imaging (e.g. neurotransmitters: Glutamate and GABA; and energy metabolite Lactate)
- Whole-brain mapping of ATP metabolism by 31P magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF)
- Mapping pH, NAD, phosphomonoesters, phosphodiesters, and phosphocreatine by 31P MR spectroscopic imaging
- 31P B1 mapping method for mapping B1+ field distribution
- Neuronal and astrocytic oxidative metabolism by 13C magnetic resonance spectroscopy
- Novel functional MR imaging method for mapping brain functional-metabolic connectome
