Research area: Anaerobic digestion. Microbial CO2 reduction.
Requirements: A Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is generally required, though excellent 4-year Bachelor degree holders will also be considered. Good foundation in microbiology and chemistry, research experience in a related field is desirable. Fluency in English.

A PhD position requires acceptance in the EPFL Doctoral Program, for which you must file an application. Candidates are invited to submit their applications prior to the three yearly deadlines (January 15th, April 30th and September 15th). A normal PhD degree lasts 4 years.
