- Min. requirements for chip design track:
- Full tape-out experience (RTL/transistor design, simulation, synthesis+PNR/layout, integration, tape-out, PCB design, testing, paper writing/submission)
- Ready to take on the full responsibility for a tape-out on a complex mixed-signal (both analog and digital) chip design with >1k transistor count
- Min. requirements for embedded systems track:
- Full system design experience (power design, MCU programming in Assem./C/C++, communication, sensors, PCB, etc.)
- Ready to take on the full responsibility for a system design utilizing a custom IC in the direction of pervasive ultra-low-power IoT-like systems
- Common Min. requirements:
- Master student wishing to do tape-out projects
- Min. requirements:
- willingness to commit 2+ semesters of semester/master projects – this tape-out project will have publishable novelty aspects to it, hence we need students who would follow through to the end
- took/planning to take >10 ECTS of integrated circuit design courses
- Availability of position is a function of our Ph.D. students’ availability
- Min. requirements:
- Master students wishing to do embedded systems / circuit simulation projects
- Min. requirement:
- took/planning to take >10 ECTS of integrated circuit design courses during MS
