Main duties and responsibilities include :
Operate the testing infrastructure to measure the performance of a custom ADC IC and report the measurement result
- Design/implement PCB for testing
- Configure/automate an optimal test setup for the ADC
- Report findings as publication-worthy figures and tables
Your profile:
- Strong desire to learn about ADC design
- Dedicate >2 full working days per week on Neuchâtel campus
(travel cost covered by the MSIC lab) - Excellent knowledge of the following topics:
- electronic devices
- circuit theory
- noise theory
- frequency response
- analog circuits design
- Necessary skills:
- Familiarity with scripting in Python
- Familiarity with using PCB design suite (Altium)
- Preferred skills
- Knowledge of testing over GPIB / LAN
- Fluency in using Cadence Virtuoso Suite
- Fluency in using SPICE simulators (HSPICE, FineSim, AFS, etc.)
