CIEL stands for Concours Interdisciplinaire Etudiant de Lausanne and organizes an annual idea competition for a continuous period of 24 hours on the UNIL and EPFL campus. The conceptual core of this project is synergy, the synergy of ideas, people, skills, disciplines, motivations and sensitivities.

CIEL competition: This competition focuses on the interdisciplinarity, cultural richness and ingenuity of its participants to reflect together on environmental issues that combine sustainability and innovation: this year, the design of tomorrow’s Sustainable Olympic Village will be at the heart of the competition.
Link with the SKIL: The coordination and support of SKIL in the holding of this event is precious by the richness of the tools that are proposed to us, pedagogical and technical tools that allow us, concretely and in detail behind the scenes of the event, to put into practice the conceptual technological innovations of our time and the brains of EPFL.
CIEL association: Today CIEL is an association of more than 30 people from EPFL and UNIL, and from various faculties, an adventure that will progress all the more effectively as the community of those for whom responsibility, sustainability and innovation go hand in hand with ambition.
