MSE-470: Seminar series on advances in materials (2 credits)
This course, co-taught with Prof. Anirudh Natarajan, is a series of seminars on selected current and emerging topics in Materials that experts will present.
MSE-493: Engineered Living Materials (3 credits)
Students will be introduced to the fascinating potential of this emerging field where materials are imbued with the characteristics of living cells, such as growth, adaptation, responsiveness, and sensing. The course will combine lectures, journal club-style presentations of recent literature, and a practical laboratory activity.
