Team

Collaborators at THEMA have their own complementary focuses and fixations within the framework of lab’s focus. These projects and preoccupations are extended by each collaborator’s external engagements as practitioners, activists, writers, and students. THEMA believes that academics extend their impact when they do not just talk to each other and that academic work is enriched with practical experience for a number of reasons, including that it exposes one to the roadblocks and bottlenecks that make innovation difficult. More fundamentally, THEMA believes in reflexivity between disparate pursuits as a means of enriching research questions and research findings, as opposed to pursuing a single specialty.
