Tiffanie Paré

Doctoral Assistant

Tiffanie Paré is an architect and doctoral student at the laboratory of THEMA within EDAR at EPFL. She studied architecture at EPFL and McGill University in Montréal. She was previously a research assistant, an independent architect and is a member of the collectif La MÉDUSE. She worked on major architectural preservation in Montréal on projects such as the rehabilitation of the Parliament of Canada in Ottawa and the Ministry of Finance in Québec. Tiffanie’s Ph.D research contributes to studying the condition in which architecture is practiced, using the contractor as a lens to explore their agency in the building industry and society today. She has taught a seminar class at HEPIA on research held at EPFL and has published in the revue Tracé and in the revue Architecture Suisse.
