Goemans Lab of Drug-microbiota Interactions

In the drug-microbiota interaction lab, we want to better understand how antibiotics impact our gut microbiota, how antibiotic-resistance emerges and spreads in our gut, and how we can design better treatment. In order to tackle these questions, we combine systems approaches with molecular microbiology and biochemistry.
