The EpiGN laboratory is dedicated to unraveling the intricate processes that give rise to a multitude of cell types and regional identities within the human brain during embryonic development, all stemming from a single progenitor cell. Our investigative approach involves using brain organoids, single-cell genomics, and computational tools to investigate the epigenetic mechanisms orchestrating the precise gene expression programs encoded within our DNA.
