Stockage
Le stockage de l’énergie est le plus grand défi de la transformation du système énergétique. Le passage de sources d’énergie fossiles à des sources d’énergie renouvelables implique le développement de systèmes de stockage abordables à une échelle sans précédent. Les laboratoires de l’EPFL traitent du stockage, de la recherche fondamentale à la recherche appliquée, y compris la théorie des matériaux et la simulation, les cadres organométalliques, la production de carburants synthétiques et le captage du dioxyde de carbone.
