Junior Faculty Development

JFD fosters collaborations between Africa-based young professors and EPFL professors on projects addressing African and global challenges.

The programme 100 PhDs for Africa is one of three pillars of the EXAF initiative. It is designed to fund science and engineering graduates intending to complete a PhD at an African higher education institution.

African Cities Lab

The overall objective of the project is to create an African digital education Platform on urban development, offering quality MOOCs and online, continuing education training for professionals.

10 MOOCs already on the ACL platform
