Événement – Sommet Suisse sur le Système Alimentaire
Ces derniers mois, l’Assemblée Citoyenne pour une Politique Alimentaire et le Comité scientifique Avenir Alimentaire Suisse se sont penchés de manière intensive sur cette question. Les recommandations en résultant pour une politique alimentaire durable ont été remis lors du Sommet Suisse sur le Système Alimentaire 2023.
Innovation Booster Swiss Food Ecosystems – Ateliers et campagnes d’idéation
La transformation de notre système agroalimentaire nécessite un espace sûr qui crée des opportunités, génère des idées et développe des solutions radicales. C’est l’objectif de l’Innovation Booster Swiss Food Ecosystems, qui est soutenu par Innosuisse et co-géré par Swiss Food Research et le Cluster Food & Nutrition.
Call for participants – Empowering youth and women in science for a food-secure future
Celebrating the spirit of the International day of Women and Girls in Science in February, FAO and the World Food Forum will organize a hybrid event in Geneva to facilitate an exchange between FAO’s leaders and women in science who are developing innovative approaches, technologies and science to address the current global food challenges we face today.
Project BIOPACK – Biobased food packaging
Project BIOPACK started in 2019 and involves Prof. Michaud’s Laboratory and Nestlé. Its overall objective is to create life-cycle engineered, biobased food packaging solutions to minimize environmental impact, from production all the way to after use.

Jan 31st: Event – Future of Farming
In January 2023 Space4Impact will kick-off the second edition of its international acceleration programme for downstream space applications bringing together space startups and strategic partners across industries. The first event on the Future of Farming will be co-hosted with the Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley.
Horizon Europe 2023-2024 Work Programmes
The European Commission has published the Horizon Europe 2023-2024 Work Programmes. Hundreds of topics are available for a total budget of €13.5 billion in 2023. Horizon Europe is open to universities, research institutes, individual researchers, start-ups and large companies.
IFNC – CIS joint event 2022
For the 2022 edition of the “Meet-the-Professors” event, the Food and Nutrition Center and the Center for Intelligent Systems had decided to join forces and invited partners from the food industry for an intensive online event on the following topic: “Applications of sensors, IoT and robotics for agri-food R&D and operations”.
