Venice Time Machine ‐ EPFL

The Venice Time Machine is part of the Time Machine Europe project. Its bootstrapping phase was developed between 2012 and 2019. The project is now in its second phase of development, with activities planned from 2020 to 2028.

Immersion dans les archives de Venise

Published:27.10.17 — L'émission "Mise au point" sur RTS1 s'est intéressée au travail des chercheurs de l’EPFL, qui peaufinent le Venice Time Machine. Une "machine à remonter le temps", outil de recherche unique, qui permet de compiler toutes les archives pour obtenir une reproduction exacte de la ville au cours des âges.

DHLAB at the European Board of National Archivists EBNA meeting

Published:18.05.17 — EPFL Prof. Frédéric Kaplan and Dr. Isabella di Lenardo were invited to present the Venice Time Machine during a meeting bringing together the national archivists from the European Union and members of the European Archives Group in Malta on 27 & 28 April 2017.
