Zeiss CrossBeam 550 is a dual beam (SEM/FIB) instrument dedicated to TEM lamella preparation.
Equipped with:
- SEM column and detectors:
- Gemini II SEM column with Inlens and EsB (Energy selective BSE) detectors,
- standard Everhart-Thornley secondary-electron (SE) detector,
- insertable BSD4 detector.
- Next generation FIB column, Ion-sculptor, featuring high currents for high throughput and excellent low voltage performance for high sample quality.
- 2 UniGIS (Gas injection system) – carbon and platinum (option: tungsten and water)
- OmniProbe 400 manipulator
