AUTOHIAM

EPFL ALCHEMY has recently pioneered a low-cost, low-shrinkage, high-resolution method for the additive manufacturing of ceramics and metals, termed hydrogel infusion additive manufacturing (HIAM). The objective of this project is to automate this process (hence the title of AUTOHIAM) and demonstrate a pathway towards high throughput manufacturing and continuous production.
