Biosensor for the early detection of breast cancer by analyzing signature of volatile compounds in sweat

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by cancer patients differ from healthy individuals. The project aims to identify signature VOCs in the sweat of breast cancer patients using standard methods. The obtained results will help to construct a biosensor for the identification of these VOCs offering a non-invasive and painless point of care (POC) device for early breast cancer detection.
