EPFL launches of sustainability course for all first-year students

Education

Whether they study mathematics, microengineering, life sciences or architecture, all 1862 first-year EPFL students experienced their first session of the common sustainability course on Tuesday February 18. The course is organized by the Environmental Sciences and Engineering Section of ENAC.

New master's program encourages fresh approaches to urban planning

EPFL’s School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) has introduced a new master’s program in urban systems that will start this fall. The goal is to train experts who are capable of implementing sustainability-oriented approaches for urban planning and development.

ENAC three disciplines

ENAC bring together three transformative disciplines:

  • Architecture
  • Civil Engineering
  • Environmental Sciences and Engineering

ENAC explores the potentials of interdisciplinarity to achieve excellence in the training of tomorrow’s architects and engineers as well as to place scientists at the forefront of research.
