The aim of this grant is to support new interdisciplinary research collaborations within ENAC, such as those originating from the serendipity interactions at ENAC’s Research Day 2018.

Who can apply for funding?
ENAC researchers such as PhD students, postdocs, scientists, and professors. Note: Support letters from lab leaders are required if they are not themselves involved in the project as applicants.
Funding
Two funding schemes are available:

Which expenses can be covered?
Operational costs (e.g. for workshop organization, travel costs, invitation of experts, etc.), consumables, small equipment, software, etc. Note: salaries can only be covered within the DISCOVERY funding scheme.
Project duration and allocation of funds
Project duration is max. 15 months (09/2018-11/2019). Actual costs will be reimbursed upon receipt of a short status report (end of 2018) and the final report (end of 2019).
Selection process and funding
Proposals are reviewed by the members of the Direction Board of ENAC. Evaluation focuses on the added value of the interdisciplinary collaboration, on the innovative character of the proposed research project and its scientific quality. Projects with related advising and/or teaching activities will be more favorably reviewed.
