Research in the field of operating systems and networking at EPFL spans a broad spectrum of emerging challenges in efficiency, dependability, scalability and security in data processing, communication (both wired and wireless networks) and storage. We work on the design and evaluation of systems, with a strong emphasis on prototyping experimental systems, from embedded and mobile platforms, all the way to servers in the cloud and datacenters.
