Instructions for registration
- Visit the websites of the various lab listed below to identify a project.
- Meet with the professor or the supervisor in charge and define the objectives and work to be accomplished.
- Set the dates of your project with your supervisor according to the section’s deadlines indicated above.
- Once everything is settled, register your project in IS-Academia following the procedure described below.
- We recommend that you actively start searching for a project in the previous semester and finalize the agreement with the lab by the beginning of the semester in which you will be carrying out the project.
- If you would like to do a project in a lab that is not listed, please e-mail Cecilia Bigler (IN) or Martine Emery (SC), the following information:
- Name of the lab
- Name of the professor responsible for the project
- Abstract (and project link, if applicable)
- After analysis of your request, you will receive a reply by e-mail. If your request is approved, you may proceed as described below.
- Deadline to submit your request: 31 January for a project in spring, 31 August for a project in autumn.
- Register your project in IS-Academia from the opening of the registrations by the Registrar’s office.
- Important: The registration in IS-Academia is the only official registration that will be considered for the research project.
- Deadline: according to the official registration deadline for courses and projects
Report submission and oral presentation
- For information on the format and content of the report, contact the project supervisor.
- The report must be submitted directly to the lab.
- Submission deadline: refer to the date indicated at the top of this page.
- The oral presentation must take place within 2-3 weeks after submission of the report.
