Special Announcements
FINAL EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT
The final exam has been set on Monday January 30th from 8:15 to 11:15. It will take place in rooms CO1 and CO2. The exam will cover all the topics in the course. You can have two sheets of A4 paper (4 pages) on which you can write anything you want. No book, no notes, no cellphones, no pocket calculators, or any other electronic devices.
Notes on Tunstall coding and Lempel-Ziv algorithm are posted on “Additional Reading Material” section.
The midterm has been set for Tuesday November 8th from 13:15 to 16:15. It will take place in room SG1. The exam will cover all the topics covered before November 7th. You can use a piece of A4 paper (double sided) on which you can write anything you want. No book, no notes, no cellphones, no pocket calculators, or any other electronic devices.
Homework 9 is graded due to 30 November 2011, 5pm, INR 036.
Problem 2 in homework 9 has been modified, please check the new version.
