Research in the field of networking at EPFL spans a broad spectrum: from fundamentals to infrastructure targeting applications as diverse as computer networks; utility networks; biological networks; and social networks. Fundamental research includes various aspects of network science such as graph, game and communication theory, network inference and mining, stochastic modeling, and network coding. Research on systems targets efficiency, scalability and security in both wired and wireless networks.
