ICP-OES 5110 (Agilent)
The Agilent 5110 inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) system is designed for measuring traces of metals and other elements in a diverse sample range. It features a unique Dichroic Spectral Combiner (DSC) technology that enables synchronous radial and axial measurements in combination with vertical torch and high speed, zero gas consumption VistaChip II CCD detector. This ICP-OES system is equipped with autosampler for high throughput analysis, as well as a multimode sample introduction system (MSIS), allowing simultaneous vapor generation and reduction of environmentally sensitive elements including As, Se and Hg.
Fluorescence Spectrometer LS 55 (PerkinElmer)
The PerkinElmer LS 55 Fluorescence spectrometer offers flexibility, versatility, reliability and ease-of-use. It is capable to measure fluorescence, phosphorescence, bio- and chemiluminescence and polarization. Its operational modes are the following: excitation, emission, constant wavelength synchronous, and constant energy synchronous spectral scanning. This instrument can also perform the measurements of single and multiple wavelength kinetics, simple quantitation by curve fitting with a number of fit algorithms.
FT-IR-Spectrometer Spectrum Two (PerkinElmer)
Spectrum Two™ is the IR spectrometer can confidently perform fast, accurate IR analysis and quantification assuring the quality of obtained data across a wide range of applications. Fixed mirror-pair interferometer design does not require dynamic alignment to compensate for errors found in linear mirror movement systems. A unique humidity shield design protects Spectrum Two from environmental effects allowing it to be used in more challenging environments. Atmospheric vapor compensation features an advanced digital filtering algorithm designed to compensate for CO2 and H2O absorptions in real time. It effectively eliminates interference from these atmospheric components, removing the need for instrument purging. Leading PerkinElmer technology in the digitization of the FT-IR interferogram improves dynamic range, reduces spectral artifacts and increases ordinate linearity to produce accurate, reproducible results.
Zetasizer Nano ZS (Malvern)
The Zetasizer Nano ZS is a high performance two angle particle and molecular size analyzer for the enhanced detection of aggregates and measurement of small or dilute samples, and samples at very low or high concentration using dynamic light scattering with ‘Non-Invasive Backscatter optics. This instrument also incorporates a zeta potential analyzer that uses electrophoretic light scattering for particles, molecules and surfaces, and a molecular weight analyzer using static light scattering. In addition, a microrheology option is available for measuring sample viscosity and viscoelastic properties, as well as a Protein Measurement option for protein mobility measurements.
HPLC with DAD-UV and RI detector (Thermo Scientific)
The UltiMate 3000 Quaternary Analytical UHPLC is a versatile chromatographic system, that supports a wide range of separation columns, solvent options and gradient profiles. It also provides remarkable retention time precision, accurate and precise eluent selection and proportioning efficiency, and excellent mixing performance for quaternary HPLC and UHPLC applications. The system is equipped with DAD detector and Refractive Index Detector RefractoMax 521. The later one is crucial for cost-effective analysis of compounds with little or no absorption in the UV range. It is ideal for detection of alcohols, sugars, carbohydrates, fatty acids and polymers in combination with an isocratic gradient. Low baseline noise and high response make it suitable for sensitive analyses.
