High School activities

Together with the Service de promotion de l’éducation de l’EPFL, we propose various mathematical activities and participate to different scientific m nous proposons plusieurs activités mathématiques et participons à différentes manifestations scientifiques

Throughout the year, the EPFL and the Service de promotion de l’éducation (SPE) organise scientific events for students in high school, in which the Institute and the Mathematics Section participate.

The 2024 "Prix Schläfli" for Mathematics has been awarded to Jonathan

Published:17.05.24 — The Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) has awarded the "Prix Schläfli" for 2024 for a doctoral work in mathematics to Jonathan Gruber for his thesis "Generic direct summands of tensor products for simple algebraic groups and quantum groups at roots of unity", obtained in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Donna Testerman.
