A research-oriented program with a strong focus on
lab work and projects achievements
The Master of Science in Molecular & Biological Chemistry prepares the students to a career in research, combining theoretical understanding of the molecular world and hands-on experience in laboratories.
During the first two semesters, beside modules and independent courses, students are given the chance to enhance their skills by selecting a Professor in order to carry out short projects consisting in a first research experience (Projects Ia and Ib).
Students then join a research laboratory as first full-time lab experience during a complete semester (Project II).
Currently, the program offers a large spectrum of specialization in modern chemistry with about 30 research groups.
The last and 4th semester of studies consist of the Master’s project (also called PDM).
