The SV Research Core Facilities provide access to state-of-the-art technologies and expertise enabling scientists to tackle questions emerging at the interface between engineering and biology. They assist researchers in planning and executing projects and, through provided training, disseminate accumulated expertise. Striving to anticipate and match evolving needs of researchers, the Research Core Facilities also continuously evaluate and establish new techniques and methods through R&D activities.

Provides competence, equipment and specialists for a large panel of histological preparations.

Proteomics

Provides identification and quantitative analysis of proteins and lipids through advanced mass spectrometry methodologies.

Protein Production and Structure

Provides expertise and instrumentation in protein sciences and integrative structural biology: protein production, purification, biophysical techniques, NMR, X-Ray crystallography and single particle EM.


Center of PhenoGenomics

The Center of Phenogenomics (CPG) contributes to research through tailored services in animal experimentation and ensures the welfare of laboratory animals in compliance with regulations and ethics. The CPG employs a highly qualified team of collaborators who promote and ensure use of best practice in animal research.
