The Brain Mind Institute (BMI) was one of the first institutes established after the formation of the School of Life Sciences at EPFL. Contributing to and supported by the technological foundation of EPFL, Brain Mind Institute Laboratories work to understand brain function and exploit this knowledge to advance human brain health and develop improved intelligent machines.
The Brain Mind Institute is directed by Brian McCabe and consists of 18 principal investigators.
