The purchase of IT equipments of the School of Life Sciences is centralised at the SV-IT to guarantee to all users a professional advice and a purchase adapted to the needs, while benefiting from preferential rates negotiated with the EPFL suppliers. From a lab perspective, this also ensure the IT equipments are inventoried, configured and secured in accordance with the EPFL standards (VPSI security baseline and LEX).
