Are you a clinician wondering whether and how AI could assist you in your clinical/research practice?
Are you a life scientist with biological data (omics, imaging or other) that you previously published and would like to be mined by talented scientists to generate disruptive science?
Do you like to code and wrangle with data?
This Hackathon for you!
Idiap, EPFL School of Life Sciences, EPFL AI Center and CHUV together with SIB, SDSC and HUG, are running a two-days Hackathon to bring together life scientists, clinicians and data scientists as well as students!
With the overarching goal to raise awareness among clinicians and life scientists about the potential of AI in life science and clinical research, our objectives include:
- Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Encouraging innovative data analysis.
- Promoting the re-use and sharing of valuable existing data.
We also welcome students, as well as beginners! Hackathons are a perfect playground for skill development, where you can learn new coding languages or design techniques hands-on. What’s more, they are a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, mentors, and even potential employers.
