In addition to the various activities detailed in these pages, the SV Store also manages a self-service stock of dry ice and the storage of gas cylinders.
Dry ice
Dry ice is delivered every Tuesdays and Fridays in the morning at 8:30 a.m. in the following formats:
- 40 kg in blocks of 1 kg;
- 50 kg in pellets of 16 mm.
Dry ice is available for self-service in room SV 0409 (Mail room – station 19). The room is open 24 hours a day and the ice is kept in three special containers.
IMPORTANT! Users must wear protective gloves and follow the safety rules for handling dry ice.
Gas cylinders
Gas cylinders are stored at the SV Store. Maintenance of cylinders in the SV Store is performed by the technicians of the SV Workshop upon request.
A contract convention has been negotiated with the supplier Carbagas, which allows users to benefit from special conditions such as 25% discount on gas, 25% discount on the rental of cylinders, without the need to manage an annual contract (free delivery).
